I could tell by James’ tone that he was anxious to find out what I had to tell him. And boy would he be shocked. I had printed out some old pictures that Erica and I had taken and planned to show him. I really did not care if she wanted to be with him or not, but he had to respect my mind that no nigga was playing daddy to my child. Erica better have had a plan because her ass was going to be kicked to the curb after I told him everything, and she was not about to run game on me. I had already decided that I was filing for custody of the baby, so meeting with a lawyer would be my next move after dealing with her dude.

It did not take me long at all to get to the mall. I parked and went inside to grab me a quick bite. Shit, I might as well get me a little snack. As I was sitting off in the corner, I saw James walking through the food court. My phone instantly rang showing that it was him calling.

“I’m on the side right after you pass the little candy stand.”

“Bet,” he responded then hung up.

“What’s up bruh?” I said as he approached me and I stuck out my hand to dap him up. He looked apprehensive, but he reached his hand out as well. For the next hour, I detailed Erica’s deceit to him and how she was trying to play him.
